G&C Colors is a Spanish company founded in 2000 and specialized in the production and comercialitation of inorganic pigments.
ChromaFer is the brand for GC Colors’ pigments for industry. Synthetic iron oxides and chrome oxides stand out among our products.
A wide range of products meets the demand in all areas of use, developing specific tailored pigments for the construction, paint and plastic sectors, according to the requirements of our clients. Our Technical Support Laboratory advises on the use of our pigments in the different applications.
In 2003 we obtained the SGS certification on the regulation ISO 9001. Our facilities have the best technology in means of production and quality control.

2000
ORIGINS
At the beginning of this year our activity begins. We started with the brand ChromaFer for all industrial range pigments.
Introduction to sectors: cement, paint, masterbatch and rubber. -
2002
EXPORT
Home supply decorative paper sector in Germany.
Incorporation of new high-power blending equipment. -
2003
CERTIFICATION
Obtaining the ISO 9001 certificate.

LOCATION
Transfer to the new facilities.
Blending and processing capacity is quadrupled through the incorporation of new and more modern production equipment.
Success story: supply of 50 tons. of red pigment for the vials of pigmented asphalt agglomerate in the Fuente Álamo Technology Park (Murcia, Spain) -
2006
EASYCOLOR
Registration and launch of the EasyColor brand, pigments in small format focused mainly on DIY.
Home manufacturing and supply of colored release agents for printed concrete.
The covered area of the facilities is doubled. -
2007
EXPANSION
Expansion in the decorative paper sector in Germany, more than 1,000 tons. Research, development and pilot plant of pigment in granular form for the precast concrete industry. Research on iron oxide with low heavy metal content.

CERTIFICATE
Obtaining CE marking for pigments intended for construction.
Outbreak of the global financial crisis.

INVESTIGATION
Completion of the pigment production plant in granular form. Research for the production of pigments in liquid form and launch of water-soluble formats for the construction sector.

ANNIVERSARY
Great 15th anniversary celebration party. Expansion of blending and packaging facilities for powder pigments, SMN mixer with capacity of up to 25 T. Success story: start of UTE Ouargla Tram supply in Algiers (more than 250 tons of pigments).

Launch of the Lagytex brand that encompasses special coatings based on organic and/or hydraulic binders. Launch of the Adifugo brand that includes additives and water-repellent substances for construction materials. 1st Exhibition at the European Coatings Show in Nuremberg.

Our laboratory is equipped with the latest meassurement and control devices. The products are subject to rigorous checks that allow us to offer high quality pigments to the market. Through the continuous improvement, we constantly constantly check the procedures at the same time as we develop new lines of research.
The department of RDI explores the latest trends in the market, such as cleaner products with an improved fluidity, oxides with higher purity, pigments which disperse more easily, and so on.
Customized pigment lab
High stock ensures an immediate response in standard products. For customized colors, the flexibility of our production lines allows their manufacture in record time.
For production, there are several independent lines of blending, packaging and bagging that ensure a quick response to the demand in markets.
